Fireworks offer a fascinating and crackling display of light, colour and sound. The effect occurs when carefully composed pyrotechnic compounds are ignited and different substances react with each other in controlled explosions at high altitude.
Environmental awareness and sustainability are natural parts of our work. Here you can read about how we work to reduce the impact of our shows and products on the surrounding environment.
Choice of location
We avoid sensitive natural areas and environments with extensive wildlife. In many cases, urban settings or waterside locations are preferable, as the impact on animals and nature is reduced and fallout can be managed in a more controlled way.
Choice of fireworks
All fireworks make noise, but sound levels can be adjusted. When needed, we select shells with a lower sound profile or minimise the use of powerful salutes, particularly in densely populated areas or at events where special consideration for the surroundings is required.
Materials and content
Environmentally hazardous heavy metals are not permitted under EU regulations for fireworks, and we work only with products that meet applicable European safety and environmental requirements.
Professional fireworks are fired from fibreglass and plastic tubes designed for repeated use. Material that cannot be reused is handled and recycled to the greatest extent possible.
After the show
After every show we inspect the area and collect any fallout. Professionally executed fireworks, with correct setup and safety distances, result in controlled dispersal and minimise impact.
