First and second place at the Finnish Fireworks Championship

The Finnish Fireworks Championship is a national competition in which the country’s foremost pyrotechnicians compete to create choreographed fireworks shows before a live audience and jury. The judging covers aspects such as technique, dramaturgy, colour composition and how well the show interacts with the music. Over the years the competition has served as an important arena for showcasing and developing fireworks art at a high level in Finland.

We competed in the Finnish Fireworks Championship in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, unexpectedly taking gold in 2006 and 2008 and silver in 2007 and 2009. This was during our first years in operation and it was an incredible feeling to do so well in the competitions! It definitely inspired us to keep going.
