First place and audience award at Festival d'Art Pyrotechnique

Festival d’Art Pyrotechnique in Cannes is one of the world’s most prestigious musical fireworks competitions and has been held since the 1960s. Each summer, a small number of international fireworks teams are invited to create large-scale choreographed shows over the Bay of Cannes. The shows are judged by an international jury and close to 1 million people are estimated to watch the entries — from the beaches of Cannes, the rooftop terraces of beachfront hotels, boats out in the bay and online.

We won first place in Cannes in 2016, which was a major milestone — the fact that we were the first Nordic company ever to take part made it all the sweeter!

We were also invited to La Vestale 2018, a “Best of the Best” competition that is part of Festival d’Art Pyrotechnique, where the six winners from the preceding three years compete. There we came second and were awarded the Silver Vestale.
