L’International des Feux Loto‑Québec in Montréal is the world’s largest and most prestigious international fireworks competition. Each summer, a selection of the world’s most decorated fireworks teams are invited to present musical fireworks displays over the St. Lawrence River before hundreds of thousands of spectators. The shows are judged by an international jury and the competition is the most significant in professional pyrotechnics.
Receiving the Gold Jupiter Award means winning the entire competition at L’International des Feux Loto‑Québec in Montréal. It is the competition’s highest honour, awarded by the jury to the show judged to be the best overall.
As the Montréal competition is the world’s largest and most prestigious fireworks competition, a Gold Jupiter in practice means the team has delivered one of the year’s finest musical fireworks shows in the world.
